Our Story
Allen Chapel Human Development Corporation was birthed December 3, 2017 at a Church Conference at Allen Chapel AME Church under the leadership of Rev. Kahlil G. James under the original name Allen Chapel Development Corporation. The goal of the organization was to offer additional services to the Hartford Community. After assessing the disparities that existed in the Hartford community the advisory group elected to change the organization name to Allen Chapel Human Development Corporation.
